Course Description
At Grace Garden International Kindergarten & Nursery, our Playgroup program offers our youngest members their first steps into the wider world. Modelled off our exclusive ‘Language of Children’ curriculum, your child will develop fundamental life skills through our play-based approach. Offered in both English or Mandarin, our 75 minute classes emphasize:
English/Mandarin Language Immersion Fostering Independence & Confidence Sensory, Creative & Messy Play Auditory & Visual Experiences Parent/Child Socialization Understanding the World Physical Development Songs & Dance
Establishing regular routines are a critical and essential part of a child’s learning and development; it helps your child develop all of the following: self-regulation, confidence, self-esteem, self-control, sense of time and security, social skills, coping with transitions, as well as guiding positive behavior, safety, and forming positive relationships with caregivers. During the 75-minute session, our teachers will guide both you and your child through the following program:
Pre-Nursery
Course Description
Our pre-nursery program is designed to provide a unique and rich learning experience for young children from 2 to 3 years old. During this time, children develop a strong curiosity in exploring the world around them and discovering their role within it. Our program focuses on what matters most: the growth and wellbeing of children. Our emergent curriculum encourages creativity, physical development, building social skills and autonomy which prepare children for later academic success. Our classes are delivered in both English and Mandarin, providing authentic experiences in a nurturing and engaging environment.
