Hong Kong is known as the "Pearl of the Orient" due to its colorful night scene, but it turns out that there are also pearl cultivators in Hong Kong working hard, hoping to promote the characteristics of the "Pearl of the Orient". Take a tour to learn how pearls promote marine ecology and the traditional culture of Hong Kong fishermen.
Take a boat from the public pier to Sai Kung Sham Wan (the boat journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes) to see the pearl farm fish steaks certified by the Hong Kong Fisheries and Conservation Department as high-quality fish farming. Pass by the Plover Cove Reservoir to view the dam and auxiliary dam.
After arriving at the Fish Pavilion, fishermen will explain the process of cultivating pearls and demonstrate how to mine pearl clams, allowing tourists to try out pearl fishing for themselves.
